I was born in Bronx, New York. Since I was little I always loved to be creative whether it was drawing, painting or crafting. My parents were always encouraging me. I did very little art in schools since art wasn’t considered important though I always found ways to be creative in school projects and found time to be creative during my free time. During my senior year of high school I had planned to apply to art school. I had the application filled out and ready to go but at the last minute I changed my mind. I didn’t believe I had a large enough portfolio to show them. Not submitting that application is one of my biggest regrets.
Life eventually would get in the way of most of my creativity but since leaving my job in 2009 I have been able to devote most of my time to being creative despite having severe carpal tunnel.
I enjoy working with acrylics, watercolors, pastels and inks. I sometimes I have a hard time starting but once I do I am in my own little world; oblivious to everything around me. I am by no means a professional artist. I am just a woman having fun.
Besides painting I also enjoy reading, writing, playing computer games, watching movies, playing with my four cats, Waffles, Chessie, Snow & Ashbringer and spending time with my husband in our home in Pennsylvania.
